The role of parents in society and upbringing of kids

 What happened in Dowen collage which is located at No. 18 Adebayo Doherty Rd. Lekki Phase 1106104, Lagos State. Is one of the very sad and moral decadence of the society and the lacklustre attitude of most parents in Lagos and almost in every home in Nigeria. The decease Sylvester Oromoni is just a 12year old kid who know the importance of education and the value it will place in our lives,  he strive to succeed in the face of challenge he stand and upheld his belief as never to join cultist but to live a better life for himself and society. I condole with his family it is a very difficult thing to lose a kid due to negligence of the school authority to install and train their kid on the need to understand the danger of bad habit and the disadvantage of joining gang. The parents of the cultist should be prosecuted and also face the full wrath of the law for justice to prevail. Their neglect in installing decipline and bringing up their kid in a Godly manner is part of the reason Sylvester lost his young life with so much promised and the potential he has have just been wasted away by fools who are supposed to be learning and understanding the value of life and how to make meaningful impact in society. The school head should also face the law for running a school without moral and society value. Poor young Sylvester Oromoni may not be the only victim, there may be tons of teen suffering silently or may have forcefully been initiated into cult but his death has expose the rot in that collage and how teachers try to cover up the mess going on there. Most teachers are also capable and others may know what is going on but kept silent due to threat from the head in order not to exposed the alarming and dangerous tout they are training. The government must do more than closing the school head must be role and every stone unturned to unrevail what transpire and everyone within and outside the school must be arrested the kids who are responsible should be arrested and more investigations must be undertaken by security men to arrest those outside the school who must have initiated the student.  This also calls for parents to keep am extra eyes on their kids and listen to compliant raised by neighbors or school authority concerning their kids.  Parents must also install decipline and moral upbringing on their kids for such ugly incidence to never happen again.
